The motifs of this scarf portray the alphabet through the hieroglyphic signs found on the Minoan Phaistos Disc. Among the 45 symbols are representations of recognizable objects, such as plants, birds, tools, and more. The clay disc is currently on display at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and dates back to the 2nd millennium BC. The artwork is based on the original artefact.
